The Economic Development Center (EDC) is a social enterprise based in Nottingham and the UK’s leading African Hub. We are dedicated to empowering African, Caribbean, and other minoritized communities across the UK by connecting them to opportunities, growth, and generational wealth through skills, strategy, and storytelling.

The EDC offers a variety of services, including professional workspace solutions, training and education, youth programs, legal and advocacy support, and economic empowerment initiatives. We also provide leadership coaching, international connections, and cultural events. Our goal is to create pathways to success for our members and contribute to a more inclusive and prosperous society. We are committed to fostering a strong community and are on track to have over 1,000 members by 2028.
